“Water Dragon”

The sculptural composition “Water Dragon” by Andriy Bolyukh is an example of artistic forging, where technical skill is combined with a decorative and functional role. Located on a stone wall above a reservoir, the work serves as a mini-fountain: water flows from the dragon's mouth in a thin stream. The dragon is made of metal: with an elongated head, decorated with decorative curls and smooth ornamental lines.

In culture, the dragon is one of the most powerful symbols: in the European tradition, it personifies elemental power and the guardian of treasures, in the Eastern tradition, it is the patron of water, rain and rivers, a symbol of wisdom and grace. The image of the water dragon, although rarely found in art, has a special power, as it combines two opposing elements - water and fire, embodying harmony and control over natural forces.

The location of this sculpture above the water gives it a special meaning: the dragon appears as the guardian of the reservoir, and the continuous movement of the stream creates the illusion of a living creature, whose presence fills the space with a fairy tale and a sense of a legend that has come to life in the real world.
