Derenivska Kupela Arboretum – a botanical world in the heart of Transcarpathia
On an area of 20.5 hectares, the Derenivska Kupela has a unique botanical collection in Ukraine - over 5,000 species and varieties of plants from all over the world. This is not just an arboretum - it is a landscape space for health improvement, inspiration and cultural leisure, where the aroma of spring, summer and autumn sound in unison with every breath.
Botanical collection, opens up new senses:
Purifies the air, enriching it with oxygen and phytoncides. Regulates the microclimate, creating a comfortable atmosphere in heat or rain. Promotes psycho-emotional relief - the influence of color, aroma, and rhythm of nature reduces stress levels. It becomes a living ecosystem — the perfect atmosphere for inspiration and relaxation. February–March. PWitch hazel, snowdrops, saffron, and crocuses bloom early — heralds of spring awakening.
April–May. Magnolias, cherry blossoms (14 varieties), ornamental apple trees, and peonies create a multi-layered spring scene. A collection of rhododendrons (43 varieties), lilacs (14 varieties), tree peonies and over 260 varieties of irises - including a unique hybrid bred specifically for "Derenivska Kupela". Arches and arbors are wrapped in a lace of color and fragrance – wisteria blooms in delicate patterns.
June–August. Peak floral diversity: hydrangeas (16 varieties), daylilies (43 varieties), summer magnolias, herbaceous hibiscus, tulip tree, and sunny kelreiterium. A rose garden of over 150 varieties of roses is the center of the aromatic route, giving romance in every petal.
September–November. Scumpia (54 varieties) is blazing with fiery colors. And chrysanthemums, asters, and dahlias complete the season, maintaining the blooming rhythm of a fairy tale until late autumn.
December-January. The green alleys of the arboretum do not lose their expressiveness even in winter - thanks to coniferous crops: pines, junipers, yews, and cypresses.

Deren is a symbol of the complex, it is he who gave the name to our magical tract, a collection of 14 varieties, from which decorative compositions with colored bark and berry accents are formed. Continuous flowering - 365 days a year.
