"Prophet"

The forged sculpture "The Prophet" by Oleg Bonkovsky was created based on a small author's version 50 cm high, enlarged to 2.5 m.

This is a generalized image of a spiritual person, who is not depicted in realistic flesh, but appears as a symbol of a higher idea and a bearer of a holy mission. In religious and spiritual traditions, a prophet is a person endowed with the ability to receive revelations from higher powers and convey them to people, he is not only a predictor of the future, but also a moral guide who calls for justice, goodness and spiritual growth.

Made of wrought iron, the sculpture impresses with the combination of the strength of the material and the elegance of the details. The prophet is depicted in a heavy mantle, which gives the figure power and composure. The composition has clear geometric lines, and the combination of the mantle and the figure forms a triangle - a symbol of stability on earth. The gesture of the raised hands is especially expressive, it conveys a state of prayer and devotion.

The sculpture “The Prophet” combines monumentality with spiritual expressiveness; it exudes the invisible energy of faith that envelops the figure, giving it a special presence.
