“Tsimborky”

"Tsimborky" by Bohdan Korzh is a bronze sculpture that combines harmonious form and warm humor of the image. Its name is a word from the dialects of Transcarpathia, where "tsimborky" means "girlfriend". The region itself is rich in a bright linguistic palette, in this dialect you can find many colorful words.

The sculptural composition depicts two frogs in a casual conversation in nature. They are located on a rocky outcrop near the upper cascade of lakes, with a quiet expanse of water stretching out in front of them.

The first frog sits with its paws crossed on its chest and looks ahead, listening intently. The second one is leaning towards its friend, all intent on dialogue. In this miniature scene, it is easy to recognize the familiar atmosphere of a sincere female conversation.

The image of communication here goes beyond the literal. Dialogue is not only an exchange of information, but also a way to share emotions, support, and share experiences and dreams. The artist captured this warm interaction in bronze, giving it both lightness and expressiveness.

"Tsimborki" radiate positivity and peace, reminding us of the value of friendship, sincere conversation, and moments that we want to preserve.
