The word “shanty” is known in many Slavic languages. In the Carpathian mountains, loggers’ and shepherds’ temporary dwellings have long been called “huts”. Today, this wooden house is a memory of the past and one of the symbols of our traditions.
The shanty at the Derenivka Hamlet is an enclosed area where you can brightly feel the atmosphere of an authentic Transcarpathian village. It is an ideal place for small groups and family celebrations, which can seat up to 20 people. You can arrange a grill picnic on your own or order meals from our chef. Holidays in the shanty will take you back in the past and leave a vivid impression of Transcarpathian colour on you.
